Holistic Outdoor Annoyance Spray for Dogs
Looking for a natural way to keep pests off your pups? Here’s a recipe I recommend for pet parents who want to avoid harsh chemicals and protect their dogs the holistic way from fleas, ticks and mosquitos!
Ingredients:
- Start with a 16 oz bottle of Cedarcide (a natural, safe base).
- Add the following essential oils:
- 40 drops Citronella (I use Young Living)
- 20 drops Lavender
- 20 drops Lemongrass
- 20 drops Eucalyptus Globulus
Directions:
Shake well and spray this blend directly onto your dog’s coat. During cooler months, you can use it once a week, but when it’s warmer (and the bugs are more active), you may need to spray 2-7 times a week.
My Experience:
The cost comes out to approximately $4.40 per dog per month—a fraction of the price compared to heartworm medications. This recipe is completely natural, and I’ve had great success keeping my dogs heartworm-free for years. Along with this spray, I also add NingXia Red to their meals and feed them a raw, whole-food diet for added immune support.
Safe for All:
This mix is safe enough to use on puppies and nursing mothers, so there’s no need to worry if a mother dog licks her pups after application.
Wondercide is available on my amazon store and of of course the oils are from YL. https://linktr.ee/welloiledk9
