Storing Liver

  1. Poach beef liver in small amount of water until rare or medium rare.
  2. Remove liver. Set liquid aside.
  3. Cut liver in the correct amount/weight for your dog
  4. Put liver pieces in single layer on non stick cookie sheet in freezer.
  5. . Once frozen, add to individual zippy bags and remove as needed for addition to a recipe or used at treats.

Add enough water to your liver liquid to double the amount. Example: If you have 1/2 cup of liver liquid after poaching, add 1/2 cup of additional water to dilute the concentration.

Pour into ice trays and freeze. Thaw and used as toppers or moisture for your dog’s meals from time to time
