Clinical Study: Effects of PEMF for Treating Osteoarthritis in Dogs

A clinical study compared the effectiveness of two treatments for dogs with osteoarthritis (OA):

  1. Pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy

  2. Firocoxib (NSAID)

The study concluded that both treatments were effective in reducing the clinical signs of OA during treatment.

However, after treatment ended, the dogs who received PEMF therapy continued to show improvement, while the dogs who received firocoxib tended to return to their original state.

This study suggests that PEMF therapy could be a good alternative to traditional drug therapy for treating OA in dogs, with no adverse effects and improving their quality of life.:paw_prints::microscope:
