Domer Cold Laser

From the folks at Domer:

If your furry friend is suffering from arthritis, you might be wondering if laser therapy can help. The answer is YES! 💯 Here’s how it works:

1️⃣ Reduces pain and inflammation: Laser therapy uses a special light to penetrate deep into the affected joint, reducing pain and swelling.

2️⃣ Increases mobility: By reducing pain and inflammation, laser therapy can help your dog move around more comfortably and easily.

3️⃣ Promotes healing: The light energy from the laser stimulates the body’s natural healing processes, helping to repair damaged tissues and joints.

4️⃣ Non-invasive and safe: Laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment that doesn’t require surgery or medication, making it a great option for dogs with sensitive stomachs or allergies.

5️⃣ Can be used in conjunction with other treatments: Laser therapy can be used alongside other treatments, such as physical therapy or medication, to provide even more effective relief for your dog’s arthritis.

So, if your dog is struggling with arthritis, consider giving Domer laser therapy a try!

I have one of these. I bought it when Poppy injured her knee. We all continue to use it from time to time.

My vet uses a much stronger laser when Poppy and Huey go to their spa treatments. But having one at home, even those less power has been a great benefit. It just takes me a little longer or few more sessions  It make take me 2 - 30 minutes to get the same result he achieves in under 15! I’m not quite sure the exact time, or made it up to given an example. I do know that his is more powerful. My point is – don’t sit there for hours and too many sessions, but do experiment at home to find the time that benefits your dog.

One of the things I learned from the vet about my laser is that you can’t really over do it. Your dog may disagree having to lay there – but in short, it’s my understanding that the body will only accept so much energy at any given time. Once it’s reached capacity (so to speak), it simply won’t increase the result by working longer on those areas.
