Yes, I have made the switch to CBD Dog Health Brand. And it will be what I am recommending for my clients moving forward.

I have ordered CBD Ease for Huey and Howie. I ordered Extra strength, but I can still control the does (starting 9-18 mg 2x per day – tweaking as I find their sweet spot. Howie is so stiff in his neck and back even though he’s still mobile. I have started to notice Huey challenged to do step-ups from the garage to the house, and standing with his front legs and shoulders in a funky position. At 20ish and 18 – I’m not surprised to see these changes – but definitely intend to keep them as comfortable as I can.
Why Did I Switch?
Obviously, you guys all know that I love my essential oils and have been using Young Living Products for many years. I still do. I use lots of essential oils and I use many of their supplements personally and for my own dogs.
But – I have experienced significant hesitancy from many clients in using YL products. My best theory is the fear of the MLM and perceived obligation (which really isn’t there at all). So, of course I am not going to pressure anyone into anything – but I can tell there will be times with certain “dis-ease” that I know essential oils need to be part of the equation.
But I think a product labeled specially for dogs may land better with dog mamas. And it works. While no product work for 100% of the population, I think it’s far better than the some of the products I see people wasting their money on.
I have used NU CBD for a few years now for myself and my dogs. And I the Calm Rollerball I continue to believe it offers us calming benefits and benefits to the CNS. And I’m not giving mine up
But – YL/Nature’s ultra CBD does NOT include THC. Therefore, I have always referred anyone with the most serious of dis-ease (you know the big C) to King’s Harvest out of California.
We no longer have to do that!
Now even for chronic conditions like chronic anxiety, situational anxiety, arthritis, hip dysplasia, IVDD, seizures, autoimmune disorders (Cushing’s, Addisons, Immune Mediated Conditions) and of course Cancer, and much more) we have this great option available.
What we see happening is a reduction of inflammation, homeostasis & balance in the body, slowed if not stopped the progression of the disease, and in some cases literal die-off of tumors and unhealthy tissues.
In many cases, this seems to be enhanced even further when paired with Medicinal Mushrooms. And now we have the ability to get in one-stop shopping from a company that seems to doing everything right.
So I always told you guys – if I ever find anything better than what I have been using / recommending – I’d tell you about it. So here we go.
In the coming weeks (when I finish my most recent certification) I will try to do some online workshops to share more education and resources. Meanwhile – ask all your questions.
The products are good, and I’m seeing great testimonials not only online from the vendor, but from the vet teaching my class, and other class participant experiences.
Try it – in fact don’t wait until you see problems – if you have a dog with a predisposition to some of these dis-eases – a proactive approach to diet, CBD, Mushrooms, etc could help you keep things at bay.
